A lot of us fill our world with darkness. Or rather, we refuse to let light in. We’ve all fell victim before to this type of mindset. Something goes wrong in our life, and rather than picking ourselves up, we choose to fill ourselves with self-pity and lose our motivation. Of course its never easy to bounce back from a defeat or setback of any kind. That’s just how our minds are. However, this is why we need to actively be choosing to always recover from any misfortune.
This is why we need to let “light” into our lives, and dissolve the darkness. “Light” can really be anything… it fluctuates on each individual. For some, “light” may be family and friends, for others it could be working out or sports, and for others it could be something totally different from the latter. Regardless, we all need to find what lights up our lives, and never fail to let it in, regardless of how down we feel on a certain day. Always have someone in your life that can hold you accountable, and is caring and loving enough to help you out of your darkness, and always be a light for someone else. Stay in the light, and eliminate the darkness that blinds you and impairs you.
